SteelSports.net, LLC is donating a portion of the proceeds of the 2010 racing calendar to Extreme Missionary Adventures, a non-profit organization with the goal of making a positive impact in our world.
Our volunteers share the love of Jesus with overlooked people in remote locations around our world and help with human needs such as medical, dental, clean water, construction, educational and other basic needs. Our lives have been changed for the better by what Christ did for us. We now want to help others with their physical needs but more importantly to show them how they can have lasting peace in their lives.
God has put within each of us a desire for excitement, a need to rise above the mere everyday existence, a passion for adventure. God has also given each of us a purpose. XMA’s calling is to combine these two often suppressed life needs into an ‘Adventure with a Purpose’.
Extreme Missionary Adventures
There are three specific ways, we as racers, can help XMA:
By racing in XMA benefit races, SteelSports.net, LLC will donate a portion of the proceeds to XMA and their mission.
By volunteering to help XMA in future mission trips. There are many opportunities to help and you can find their mission trips listed here http://xma.elementfusion.com/usertrips.aspx
By volunteering to help at SteelSports events. We have a limited number of volunteer opportunities at our races. We usually pay our "volunteers" to help; however, you can choose to have all, or a portion of your payment donated to XMA.
By donating directly to XMA. Specifically the widget to the left is for a mission trip to Slovenia our very own Justin Reneau is directing. Justin races on Team SteelSports and directs some of the races you enjoy. Please consider sponsoring this trip, which is taking place June 2010.
