Want to learn how to navigate, but don't want the pressure of a race?
Then this day is for you! Enjoy an informal, free, come and go event. We will have a formal navigation training clinic later in the year, prior to our Tyler Adventure Sprint Race, but we are not sure about the clinic date, yet.
SteelSports.net, LLC will set up a few Checkpoints around Tyler State Park to give you a chance to improve your navigation skills.
We will provide:
- Pre-plotted Maps
- CPs for you to find
- Passport Cards
Costs:
- FREE! (We will accept donations toward our XMA Mission trip; however, this is not required)
PLEASE register online, so we know you are coming. We will only print maps and passports for registered participants to keep our costs low.

Amphitheatre near boat ramp at the North point of lake. We will have the SteelSports banner displayed.
Fitness & Adventure Sports Demo Day!
We will be set up right beside Fitness & Adventure for their Mountain bike and Kayak demo day! Playing with new gear and navigating is a great way to spend the weekend!

Cancellations after Saturday, April 17, 2010 will
receive 50% refund. Cancellations (or no shows) the week of the event receive 0% refund. We have a VERY generous cancellation policy; however, we will strictly adhere to it. Racers are not officially registered, until we receive payment. No transfer credits for cancellations.
